INGREDIENTS

Arhar Dal (Soaked)- 500Gms

Ghee - 2Tblspn

Water - 1Ltrs

Salt To taste

Garlic (Slivered) - 2Cloves

Turmeric Powder - 1Tbsp

Red Chillies (Whole) - 3

Cumin - 2

Yoghurt (Beaten)- 100Gms

PREPARATION

  1. Add ghee and heat.
  2. Add garlic, cumin, whole red chilies and turmeric respectively.
  3. Cook until temper is ready.
  4. Add soaked dal along with water.
  5. Add salt and pressure cook the dal first whistle on high, second whistle on low heat.
  6. Let off steam.
  7. Add yogurt while stirring gently.
  8. Cook for five minutes.
  9. Serve hot.
